Manitou soap

• The Manitou is an aboriginal land spirit. I originally wanted to make a White Sage soap, as the ultimate body and soul cleanser, but I found that the essential oil of White Sage was far too expensive to use in that manner. My solution to the problem was to make an essential oil blend to capture the rugged spirit of the Southwest and use that blend in a soap. Manitou contains White Sage and Juniper essential oils as its base, with a few other essential oils to give it even more character. It is ideal for a ritual cleansing bath. 

All my soaps are made with pure, natural ingredients. I use soy shortening instead of animal fat, and stir each batch by hand, usually in front of a heart-warming movie.
