Our third new creation for 2021 is Décolletage. It is a riff on the mid-twentieth century perfume White Shoulders. This classically feminine floral perfume was originally brought to the world in 1945, and the impression here is definitely nostalgic. In creating Décolletage, I was working off of my grandmother’s bottle of White Shoulders (pictured here) with a soundtrack of 40’s music playing in the background. I always have appropriate music playing when I’m creating scents. Décolletage welcomes you in with sweet peaches and cream. It then bursts into a straightforward floral fantasy of Jasmine and Lily of the Valley. Later on, the base notes of Amber and precious Sandalwood linger on your skin. This is an unabashedly old fashioned sweet and floral perfume.
