Lavendin, organic (Lavendula intermedia) from France

Lavendin is a hybrid of the "true" High Altitude Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) with Spike Lavender (Lavendula latifolia).  It is less expensive than true Lavender and it has a sharper, more camphoraceous scent.  In aromatherapy, is is thought to help awaken the intellect.  It has a clearing, cleansing sort of energy to it.

Lavendin is often added to cleaning products because of its fresh, clean, stimulating scent.

Always dilute your essential oils in an unscented carrier oil like Sesame or Jojoba. Do not take essential oils internally. Always store essential oils out of heat and sunlight.  Keep essential oils away from children and pregnant women.
