Dozens of people sent me multiple articles about the recreation of the scent worn by Julius Caesar. I had to try my hand at recreating this scent from Ancient Rome. Julius Caesar was a warrior and a dictator. He was a celebrity of his time. His scent would have contained rare and beautiful botanicals available in the Mediterranean. It starts with an herbal citrus blend of Coriander and Bergamot. It shows its appreciation for the finer things in life with precious Rose and Violet. The backbone of this scent though is its base of Rock Rose, Patchouli, and Musk.
