The Starry Veil

My inspiration for The Starry Veil is taken from the perfume Amor & Psyche from the novel Perfume by Patrick Suskind. In my mind, this scent plays out as a skilled, creative modern belly dancer telling an enchanted story in the medium of the dance. This theme is one I revisited in more detail in my Seven Veils. 

The Starry Veil begins its performance with plenty of sprightly energy; leaping onto the stage with Black Pepper and fruit notes. It continues into a melodic rhapsody of Sweet Orange and precious florals including the Jasmine Absolute written about in the novel. As this dancer leads you into the grand finale of this fragrant journey, you are treated to a cunning blend of musks, Vanilla, and Vietnamese Oud. This is a very exciting scent, and one which you will want to pick up before it sells out at this summer’s renaissance fairs.
