Thyme, Red (Thymus vulgaris) wild harvested from Spain
Thyme is considered a stimulant and warming to the system. A few drops can be blended into a lotion or massage oil for increasing circulation, muscle pain, headaches, or stress. It also helps to rid the body of parasites such as lice and scabies.
It can be inhaled or diffused into a room for coughs, colds, bronchitis, and increased concentration.
Spiritually, it has an association with strength and courage.
Do not use Thyme on people with high blood pressure.
Always dilute your essential oils in an unscented carrier oil like Sesame or Jojoba. Do not take essential oils internally. Always store essential oils out of heat and sunlight. Keep essential oils away from children and pregnant women.
