Yesod is one of the Kabbalistic spheres (Sephirot) on the Tree of Life. Its literal meaning is 'foundation.' It represents the passion which is the foundation of all life in the sexual act. It also encompasses the idea of the foundation of our personality: the things which are important to us. Yesod takes in having integrity in our relationships and staying true to our values: the foundations of being an upright and trustworthy human being. Sandalwood gives us added stability in our daily lives and Black Pepper adds courage to our convictions in this earthy blend.
